Not sure that wouldn't qualify as fish abuse.

Nope. It would just delay the inevitable.

Here's what I do to have the convenience of ready whipped, but home-made: a bonus is that I make some extra tiny ones because my cat loves a frozen one:

You have leftover whipped cream????

Lucky duck. I barely get it scooped or plopped onto the whatever and someone tall is at my elbow calling me mom and asking to lick the bowl.

Oh, thanks, FKM. New cat is now asking why she doesn't rate frozen whipped cream.

T in 16 hrs. I wish it was now. I don't even remember how I made it two weeks or longer with T. It feels like I barely make it one week with L. I guess things with T was getting stale whereas things with L are fresh?

I've already started Christmas shopping! I only have shopped etsy for now. I'll shop other stores when it's closer, but etsy can take awhile to get.

I'm planning on getting everyone a picture etched in a crystal. So for my sister - my nieces, my mom - her and my stepdad, my dad - my sister, nieces, and me, and for a friend - her two kids.

Am I weird? I love shopping and giving gifts, but I actually don't like recieving gifts. I like gifts, but for some reason I feel embarrassed and uncomfortable.

I love giving gifts .. but also don’t like receiving them. In the moment I feel pressure, pressure to like it or to be thankful - and even if it’s something I truly wanted, its overwhelming. I’d rather just take pleasure in giving and that is what I do.

My new sofa comes tomorrow, the old click clack futon one is now in the sunroom so I have somewhere to read. It has been a few years since I had a proper sofa with cushions and arms I am excited. Hopefully the cats will still continue to claw the old one leave the new one alone

I certainly don' think never having eaten spam counts as 'missing out'. Cool whip, idunno maybe a little bit, it's whipped cream with sugar, you can make it yourself and it will be better than anything store bought!

Spam is delicious.
Cool whip is nothing like whipped cream with sugar - unless by that you mean very little cream, some petroleum, and high fructose corn syrup.

I don't think I will be trying the pumpkin spiced spam any time soon. I'm appalled that Starbucks is already advertising PSL in a countdown form. Yeah, yeah, talk to me when the eggnog lattes come out. Then I'm interested!!

Not only was it Donut Friday at work today but it was hot dog/hot link and chips lunch day at work today. Free food! Plus one of my bosses gave me a whole bottle of ketchup to take home (he bought it with his money but said if he left it at work it would just go bad before it gets eaten) but I'll probably send it up to my sister's because she's the one with five children who eat ketchup on everything!

Of course there was a whole discussion about vegetarian hot dogs verses "regular" hot dogs. As one coworker is a vegetarian. This led to a discussion of what is in hot dogs, at which point I was no longer hungry.
