I would LOVE to be a therapist! Does anyone else listen to therapy-related podcasts? I listen to psych central of course, and love Psychology in Seattle. I just heard about "The Shrink Next Door" (a true story of an unethical Pdoc who is apparently still practicing), and gonna check that out too!

I also listen to Psychology In Seattle, and get a kick out of Dr. Kirk's Patreon 4 hour deep dives. I love when Dr. Bob is the guest. . Between Us is my favorite psychology Podcast, bit they are taking a few months off. First season? Amazing.

i've only had time to listen to about a handful of the podcasts on this site, and have found them to be interesting stories to hopefully help therapists learn from other therapist's mistakes:

Mental Health Archives - Safe Space Radio

I used to listen to this one. My ex-T was interviewed a few years back about being a therapist with severe OCD.

Looking for safety, protection, being cherished and loved can often be normal unmet needs in childhood, and the survivor searches for these in other adults. This can be where survivors search for mother and father figures. Transference issues in counseling can occur and this is normal for childhood abuse survivors.

I found this one recently. It's couples therapy, involving real sessions: Where Should We Begin? with Esther Perel on RadioPublic

This one is only a few episodes long and has stopped: YouTube: Moments of Meaning
