I don't want to go into detail, but I am seeing my T in an hour, and plan to spend the entire session crying. If I had some pocket riders, perhaps I wouldn't entirely go over the edge. Thanks in advance.

I swear when I think I am going to go into session and cry the entire time I am do not cry.

Wanting those unmet childhood needs in adulthood. Looking for safety, protection, being cherished and loved can often be normal unmet needs in childhood, and the survivor searches for these in other adults. This can be where survivors search for mother and father figures. Transference issues in counseling can occur and this is normal for childhood abuse survivors. |

It went better than expected, and I did not cry at all. But the last few weeks have been incredibly difficult for me. Fortunately, I reached out for help, and help came, so I very slowly started to feel a tiny bit better, and then an old friend unexpectedly died this week. I am holding on by a thread.
