It's been a few months since I saw T and I'm planning on going back soon. The thing is, I'm a bit anxious. At our last appointment, T told me to email them when school started up again if I wanted to continue therapy. Well I did, and never got an answer. I checked with the counselling centre at my college and T still works there, so I arranged an appointment. Anyway, I'm worried T just doesn't want to see me anymore. Even if they didn't get my email, wouldn't they be wondering why I hadn't reached out? I don't know. I'm going to feel like an intruder when I go back. Any thoughts?

From an objective perspective , it seems like your thoughts are running away with you ( as they do ! ) , but you're still thinking and feeling things which when looked at rationally probably aren't anything to worry about. They probably either didn't get or see your email. But still we can create a whole thing around it that affects us. When you get there , I'm guessing there will not be any issues at all. It's stuff from the past that creates this sort of thing in the present and worries us. Hope you're feeling a little better !

I wouldn't put too much stock in T not responding to your email. Emails can get lost or overlooked. It's good that you made an appointment. I hope when you go back things will be fine and you can start some good work. HUGS Kit
