How did she handle it?

Well, she came out and gave a BIG smile to the waiting room, which she never does, so I actually looked around to see who she was smiling at because she doesn’t smile like that at me. And lo a cute guy in his 30s was smiling back and getting up to follow her in.

Then she sees me and the smile freezes. She tells me to hang on, goes for her appt. book. Asks if I can come back at 6 (can’t, facial/massage with someone who knows how to fill out an appointment book).

Fortunately it’s not like I told her in my email I was crying Saturday night because I was feeling abandoned by father, husband, therapists especially 3. I am sure this will help with that feeling.

I am furious with her and on my way to being upset.

I have a Church thing to do tomorrow night and I could still make it to T but it would be tight. I don't have anything to talk about anyway so I cancelled T. I mean I could talk about how I want to SH but all she keeps telling me lately is how good I'm doing. Not really helping me. I kind of feel better after cancelling. One less thing on my plate this week. Also a wild fire broke out close to where former T lives. A few homes were destroyed. I texted her to see if she was alright. She texted me back at like 11 o'clock PM telling me all was okay. Good to know she's alright. It's not the first time a wild fire has broken out where near she lives but this one looked pretty bad. I think it was about 80 percent contained this morning though so that's good. HUGS to anyone who wants one--Kit

Too bad, cause she wore a killer outfit today—black turtleneck, black jeans, black boots. No cleavage. I would have described her as “hot.”

Plus side, I didn’t have much to talk about. Down side, I sent her the list of things I wanted to talk about Sunday and it was clearly labeled “on Tuesday.”
Unacceptable. What’s her number.

I feel really stuck at work. I can usually force myself to get smaller, simpler things done. Larger projects I procrastinate on a lot. I don't know if it's fear that it's not going to go well (like some other large projects I've worked on recently) or not feeling fulfilled anymore with my work because of the depression or if I'm just still having concentration issues. The closer my expected finish date gets, the more anxious and self-loathing I get. I already have another project that I'm absolutely dreading lined up for when I'm finished with this one. I've barely started on the current one when I should be about 75% done with it already. I know the correct answer is to just buckle down and do the work.

Hugs @@ I'm sorry that happened.

L double booked on me once and it was when she was living up north during the time we were doing phone sessions. But she realized she had done so earlier than my time and texted to reschedule, thankfully. I'd have been upset if I'd called expecting my session and reached her voicemail instead!

I just ran across an article about a local woman who is accused of cheating in the Chicago Marathon and apparently has a history of doing this. She's a therapist. Her reasoning for cheating is she has anxiety and needed validation. Her counseling website is... interesting. There are pictures of her wearing a tiara with a "unicorn" (pony with a horn stuck on its head).

Its impossible to cheat these days! With all the sensors, they totally track every step you take. Why do they do it?

I kind of feel bad for her. I mean a local paper wrote a whole article about her and called out her profession in it. Talk about shame. She obviously still needs to do her own work.

That unicorn is about as believable as her race time.

She felt anxious, duh!

Now I have to go find something to cheat on. I have been feeling anxious all day.

If my therapist double-booked, I'd be incredibly hurt and angry as hell about it. I'm sorry Info pulled that crap on you. I'd probably also be pretty upset that she seemed so happy to see the other guy. Ugh.

Yeah, she never smiles a greeting at me, though I assumed that was because I never smile one at her.

Anyway she sent a very apologetic text taking responsibility and the next session is free.

I’m still pretty annoyed, mostly because it takes time to get there (25 miles or so round trip from work through current road construction).

Maybe I could ask her to wear that outfit again as compensation? Or maybe that was just for the guy?

I was so excited to meet the controller from NY and we have spent probably 5 minutes together total all day. Mostly she has been working with the owner. I mean why fly all the way out there just to work in a separate office on your computer? Seems like a waste of money and time. Plus I was hoping I was going to learn some stuff. I feel disappointed.

I am doing a meal train with some people from Church for some people from Church who just had a baby. No one had signed up for today (Tuesday) so I signed up. And then other people were like, oh I think D is going to take that day. Why did she not sign up, or text everyone on the gigantic text chain? So I called her and she was planning on doing tonight's so I am going to do tomorrow night. For something that seemed efficient it doesn't work if people don't communicate. Grrr. Here I am trying to do something nice and all I feel is frustrated.
