I'm not sure. One time she said she and her friends wore patchouli when they were in high school, so I guess maybe she was a smelly hippie.

The home ec clique?

That’s actually what Info’s college degree was in, home ec.

What is patchouli? I’m guessing based on your reply you probably weren’t a hippie!

At my kids school it was. We have a culinary arts program where the kids are in the program for their junior and senior year. The spend half their school year in the classes

The one I was talking about would have graduated from high school somewhere in the late 50's or very early 60's. The second woman was a 50's high schooler as well.

I have no idea but I feel like my T got bullied when she was a kid just based on how she talks about herself. She kind of looks sad a lot of the time too although she may just be tired. She rarely smiles.

We had a program like that at my school too! And the same thing for sewing, nursing, early childhood education, and mechanics. I think there might have been more, but I wasn’t a part of any of them, so I’m not 100% sure.

Yes definitely, it makes me feel less alone. Me and my t are similar in a lot of ways which is also great as I think shes an amazing person. I guess the aim is to try and think of myself that way but I dont currently.

Some people might assume I am because I am very left leaning and a vegetarian, but no, I am not a hippie.

Patchouli oil is a stinky substance that has a reputation for being used to mask the smell of marijuana. I don't like the smell at all. The therapist actually said one time that marijuana makes her sleepy, so I don't think that was her reason for using it. It's just a smelly, incensey stench that I don't find at all appealing and don't appreciate people slathering themselves with.

Pastor T--could totally see him being one of the cool kids. His parents had lots of money and spoiled him materially, though not emotionally. Regular T--maybe artsy or weird/shy/bookish crowd. I myself was in the science club (yeah, not cool but totally fun) but I also played soccer and did Mock Trial, and band, so I had friends from all sorts of groups, though not the popular crowd.

I was a nerdy bookish choir kid. I was friendly with people in all the different groups, but we likely wouldn't have been in the same friend group.

I’m not sure if my t and I would have crossed paths because I can’t fully tell what he was like back then, but it’s interesting to think about. I was a part of what I guess people would call the “popular” group, but my school was 4,000 kids and really diverse, so I was also friends with a lot of people who probably didn’t consider themselves part of that crowd.

I could see my t being popular, but I could also see him kind of being nerdy and keeping to himself. Hard to say.

My T is also 10 years older than me and went to a different school though, so it never would have actually happened haha.

I’m
Not sure. He’s an avid outdoorsman who drives a Subaru. He’s Sooooo smart! Yet he’s kinda dorky. He has a ponytail which he keeps pulled back and he told me he used to wear an earring(as in a hoop not a stud.)

One of my past Ts was an anime nerd and he particularly liked gundams. He was also good at art. If our paths crossed, we could've been friends (common interests). As for the other T, I don't know. I want to say that T would've been in the popular group, but she didn't talk much about her hobbies. All I know was that she liked crystals/rocks. Otherwise, I'm not sure we had much in common.

That pretty much describes my T the exception is she has very short hair.
