Hi @Lemoncake I'm not sure if anything in particular has caused them. I've been not feeling anything pretty much all week but now I am having lots of emotions that are strong and intense. So I think when I get overwhelmed then the Sui thoughts come. I guess. Yeah, the action plan that the CC wants is kind of stressing me out. I've printed out some samples online but I don't really want to work on it, which makes me wonder if it is because I am having lots of SH thoughts, or am I that motivated to stop? I guess that stresses me out too. I have about 4 hours left at work. I will probably call my parents on my lunch break, because I normally do just to check in--like a 2 or 3 minute call. Then maybe I will call a friend after that and maybe talk for 15 minutes or so. Maybe it will be enough to shift how I am feeling. HUGS Kit

Possible trigger:

Just found out that a guy I used to work with (fairly closely one semester--co-entertainment editors) at my college newspaper passed away. I knew he had stage 4 cancer--had also had it as a teen--but it seemed like from his posts he was doing fairly well. He always seemed like such a good guy, friendly to everyone, positive outlook on life. So feeling pretty sad now, even though it's not like I've been close to him since graduation (may have seen him in a group a couple times). Second person to pass away from that group (that I know of)--the other was years ago in a freak accident.

Um... the same Robbie the Robot that was in a lot of American tv shows, like Lost In Space? He would say, "Danger, Will Robinson!" and wave his little t-rex hands in front of himself.

I think it stands out for me that when both Pastor T and CC push stuff on you it triggers the suicidal feelings.

At one point it was an everyday thing for me so I do get it- but you will stop SH'ing when you're ready to stop- not when other people are forcing their time frames and ideas on you. If the plan is stressing you out I would leave it. You're under no obligation.

I hope you can call your friend afterwards.

I enjoyed the remake on Netflix, although I never watched the original because I think it was a few years before my time. They just released the second season.

I'm watching this show on Netflix called The Circle. It's a reality game show kind of thing. A little dumb, yet captivating and easy to digest. The people on the show are mostly in their 20's and they keep saying this phrase. I'm old and out of touch and trying to figure out what the heck this phrase is supposed to mean: "key key". Spelled like that, not "ki ki", and it's two separate words. In context, I would guess it means something like chatting or hanging out. I've tried Urban Dictionary and a google search, but I'm not finding anything that makes sense. Any of you young enough or more in touch than I am able to explain what this means?

I know you weren't fishing. I just felt like complimenting the couple of users near your post. No offense to anyone I didn't compliment! It was a proximity thing only. If anyone else needs a compliment today, ask and you shall receive!

And, yeah, I'm not very good at taking compliments either. My mother had to drill it into my head as a child that you're supposed to say thank you. I always wanted to hide when someone complimented me. And don't sell yourself short. I think a lot of us here have persevered through a lot of stuff, you included.

I called another T and he's going to set up a time for us to meet asap. I have a 30 minute appointment with a T at our mental health center on Tuesday. And the other T isn't until the 11th. I'm really hoping one of these works out. I know the community mental health center only meets with people every week, so I don't know if that will be enough support through all this. About to meet with our CPS caseworker in a few.

One of the things that put me off Facebook so I rarely log on anymore was a couple years ago it was my cousin’s husband’s birthday, one of those milestone birthdays. So he was getting birthday wishes on his page, lots of jokes with the milestone. Then that afternoon messages like “oh god how awful” started showing up. When I checked my email I learned he had died that morning. My cousin did CPR on him till the EMTs got there but it was too late.

It was simply surreal to see the page go from happy birthday to RIP just like that.
