I have seen this T once before, but it was a while ago. I want to talk to her about staying well; functioning if I become unwell, due to bipolar; succeeding in my education; and treating my social anxiety so I get out more and meet more people.
It’s not the first time I restarted therapy, but I am anxious about it. The therapist is very nice, but I am worried I will struggle with the skills she teaches me. I am interested CBT, DBT and mindfulness therapy, but will accept anything that works. My last therapist was very into behavioural activation. I think I was too unwell to learn and apply other skills. My appointment is on the 29th. It’s one week today. Sometimes when I’m well, I don’t think I need it, but this might be the best time to learn the skills.
