Does anyone here do adult coloring books? I took a look at some at the magazine stand and man would they stress me out. The designs look so complicated and there’s lots of teeny tiny areas to fill in.

But then I never did like coloring books all that much.

Divorce mediation session today went so smoothly I am still pinching myself. I invited the ex to lunch beforehand and we knocked out an agreement over soup. Mediation was thirty minutes, in and out.

I want to sit down and bawl from relief.

I sometimes draw and color in on my ipad even though I was never into coloring much as a child. I think I like how you can easily adjust the thinness of the lines and erase with the apple pencil. I do know some adults who find the adult coloring books a very relaxing thing to do.

Soup is good for a lot of things. I am glad it went well.

I don't use actual coloring books, but I do print out pictures I lile online and color them. I like sharing them with L because she's the one who suggested I color.

I have a Crayola Cityscapes coloring book that I enjoy occasionally, plus a Bob's Burgers one. I don't generally enjoy the elaborate mandala books. I downloaded a coloring app to my tablet recently and found it surprisingly enjoyable. And I just discovered the NYT's Vertex puzzle today, which is not coloring but kinda feels like it.

I’m asking because (and none of you can ever tell Info this) I found the scribbling around in session Tuesday stress-relieving. Not the therapy bits, just the scribbling. But blank paper intimidates me in both drawing and writing, i.e., I can’t ever see scribbling anything except a bunch of messy lines.

See what I did there? Last line applies to both drawing and writing!

Info mustn't be told ever. That is the sort of information that puffs therapists up and gives them ideas higher than their station. They get uppity.

For a hypothetical, SD, can you ever see complimenting a therapist on something they did as a therapist? Are there any possible (and no doubt extremely rare) circumstances under which that could happen?

I feel sad. I am sort of crying. I hate this because it just gives me a headache. I took a nap before dinner. Just want to sleep again. Cant wait to see T on Saturday.

I did compliment both of the woman - each one time. I told the first one she wasn't completely useless when I used her as a place to vent about my person and I told the second one she was not as horrible as the first one and that it was good to see there could be therapy without the battle.
I probably was a little over the top with each of them -but I was throwing them each a bone

I'm starting to wonder if new T1 is the right fit for me. He's the one that's been consistently 15-20 minutes late each time I've seen him, even if he has given me the entire time and actually more the first 2 times I saw him. At our session on Tuesday, he got up and walked out of the room without warning to see if his other client was waiting. Which he was, so that person probably waited close to 30 minutes too. He also told me that he'd ask his colleagues in his office to see if someone could be available to either see me next week or check in on the phone while he was gone. I haven't heard from him about that. I'll text him tomorrow and ask again, but I'm wondering if I should try to reach out to one of his colleagues on my own for another opinion.

I do see T2 tomorrow and next Friday, so I won't be totally without anyone all week. But I'd really like to be seen twice a week somehow between the 2 of them. It's not the same as 4 times a week but it's better than once a week.

I also haven't heard back from my pdoc's office about if they'll get me in sooner or refill my medication that the psych hospital provided. I have some medication left, but not enough to get me through until mid March.

I don't think I would be able to work with T1. The lateness I wouldn't like- I've been mad at R for being 4-5 mins late and especially just getting up without notice too. You deserve better.

How is T2?

Does it still count if I bought a pancake mix box?
