I spoke to my Pdoc today. He doesn't think I have PTSD. At my request, he is going to talk to T and find out why she thinks I have PTSD. Stay tuned

Good luck. I also want to add that even if according to the DSM you don't have PTSD, your traumas still matter and the impacts on you are valid. The diagnostic criteria is pretty strict and some pdocs can be rather narrow in their view of PTSD.

Hugs and good luck. I have PTSD it's been hard for every doctor and pdoc to believe the diagnosis until last year. I was diagnosed in 2005 and it has been hard to work with many therapist, pdocs til last year i got a good treatment team now. Don't give up because of your pdoc has his opinion some pdoc's are very clueless to PTSD, your traumas and everything are valid. Hugs
