My T are usually in suits. Sometimes she wear a skirt or dress too but most of the time some sort of blouse, and black trousers plus a black blazer.

In the summer when its really hot I have seen her just wearing black jeans and a cami top. She's between smart and casual. She is nearly always in heels though.

Mine wears comfy looking plain coloured clothes. Not sure if it’s his usual look or his therapist look. He’s never worn heels(!) but I used to have a female T that did and I was always distracted by them. Especially if they were shiny.

My T usually wears black but sometimes burgundy or purple. She almost always wears black shoes. She usually matches her shirt and pants (like both black or both burgundy) and then has a variety of cardigans sort of heaped around her. She wears black flowers in her hair. I love when she has the flowers in her hair. I told her she looked like a grown up Alice in Wonderland once (she's blonde, blue eyed) and she said, I'm going to take that as a compliment. I told her it was meant as one. She looks like someone who fell onto earth but doesn't quite know how she got here. Like she's quite unaware.

My T has his summer clothes and his winter clothes. Winter is a specific brand of leather boot that looks close to a dress shoe when his pant leg covers the upper part of the boot. Always a very dark blue or black dyed denim pants that fit really well (I can never find pants that fit my body right so I get jealous when people actually fit in store bought clothes). He wears a long sleeve button up dress shirt, tucked in, that is or has blue in it and often a navy sweater or sweater vest. He sometimes wears a matching hat if he is cold during session.
Then... *POOF*... and he switches to summer
Then we are on to khaki dockers style pants, a dress loafer but occasional sneakers depending on what he had to do before work. His summer shirts again are almost all blue or have blue in them and are generally short sleeve, cotton polos or sports polos... UNTUCKED... which drives me nutty (I grew up in a house where all shirts were tucked in unless it was a jeans and T shirt).

The change from Mr Rodgers to athletic/dock guy when he switched wardrobes the first year threw me for like three sessions! He apparently never had someone that thrown off by the wardrobe switch. And there is no spring/fall transition it is summer then winter.

She wore this sweatshirt with roses on it one time. It kinda looked old lady-ish to me. Honestly it looks like she doesn’t change out of her pajamas most of the time.

Wellies!

Years ago I had a group therapist and the woman dressed like a high-fashion model. She looked like a Barbie doll anyway, and wore obviously expensive clothes. As in, very expensive. I felt kind of annoyed. She was all about being paid right on time and I felt like she was so obsessed about it because she had to keep her extensive wardrobe up. Anyway, she was a lousy therapist

My Therapist is very smartly dressed. She is very petite but suits everything she wears. Trousers, skirts and dresses with tops. She's maybe in her late 50's/early 60's but dressy really cool. Plus she always smells nice she must spray some perfume when I see her as she smells really nice lol.

ex-t almost always wore all black both shirt and pants. occasionally she wore jeans in place of black pants, I think that was pretty much only on those few saturday sessions we did. i really liked saturday morning sessions, i was always so much more relaxed since i wasn't coming straight from work. sometimes she wore a blue blouse. it was rare enough to see her in something other than black i would always have to say something about it haha. Sometimes i dressed in all black too if i thought it was going to be a particularly tough session.

Current T pretty casual. Usually she wears Jean's frequently but she has some in maroon, green, etc. with a blouse or sweater. Shoes are usually birkenstocks in the summer and boots, sneakers, etc. She does not wear dresses or dress shoes st all. She once commented she only wears dresses on very special occasions and ballerina style shoes.

For the first about seven years long term t only wore professional dresses. The she started on occasion wearing dress pants. Once I had am emergency appointment on a Sunday and she wore shorts that were obviously what she wore working around the house. The first few years she only wore high heal shoes. Then she tore some tendons in her foot and could never wear them again

I never paid any attention. I am fairly confident that she did have clothes on -but as long as she was covered in something it didn't matter to me what it was
