A continuation of my last two posts about wanting to reach out to my first T.

I finally did it today! Well, yesterday. I texted T. I wasn't ready to call, as I get to easily tongue tied, and I was already too nervous to speak. I just don't like emails. Since I still had T's number I texted and she replied. I forgot how short and to the point of a texter T is! It threw me for a loop. I think I had over thought this whole thing a bit now. T is a matter of fact texter, but isn't that way in person. She is also of an older generation too. So that easily may have something to do with the short text replies. My issue is that I read and interpret people's response by their emotions, body language, use of words and their tone. So short text replies freak me out. I feel silly and foolish for being so nervous of getting in touch with T, but I have now transferred those nerves to setting up an appt and a first session. T is still practicing and taking patients, but is doing so via "telemedicine". Which I'm guessing is sessions by video because of the pandemic. So I'll have to check with my insurance on coverage, but I believe my insurance does cover that because they have already sent me information on using telemedicine for doctor appts right now.

I'm gonna text T tomorrow morning about what I need to do about setting up an appt because usually you have to fill out some forms.

I definitely can't back out now 😬.

Nope no backing out 😁 I totally get what you mean, about Ts being short with their text replies when they aren’t like that I real life! What is that about?!
Well done for reaching out even though we know it’s really really hard to sometimes. I hope your video session goes well!!
