Hi friends. I had a good session via phone with my T on Saturday. I don't remember most of it. I was pretty out of it I guess! She was saying though that I am doing so much better from before. She thinks my hallucinations are changing because I'm not as self destructive as before. It's her hypothesis. It sounds good. I guess that would be good if that were the case. My mood is pretty good. Moderately depressed but not horribly so. Today I have a half day at work so I'm almost off. I am going to miss the income but maybe I will have the desire to paint later. I have the paint. I have the canvas. I just need to do it! Hugs Kit

Hugs, Kit. My T today was encouraging me to paint again, so maybe we should agree to both paint! Do you know what you want to paint?

I used to eat to veggie patty things fairly regularly. Even my H, who eats actual chicken, liked them. Perhaps I should buy them again...

It's a nearly 10-year-old car, approaching 80,000 miles (I don't drive a whole lot!) Depending on the price of repairs, I'm wondering if it's time to just let it go, as it has some other minor issues as well (though I did just replace all the brake components like a year ago). I also think water may have leaked in it again (this happened once before), so maybe all the seals are going up? I'm sad because I love the car, but... And my H has paid off his car, so we could afford it. If it's an inexpensive fix (like a new fuse or something), maybe I'll just do that and think about replacing car in next year or so.

It's just another stressor I don't want to have to deal with right now... on the plus side, I can easily be without the car for a few days...
My 9 year old car just hit 70,000 miles on it - I bought it 5 years ago with 43,000 miles on it. I don't drive much either. LOL.

I hope it's an easy, inexpensive fix

13 years/89000 miles on my car.

Just finished a 90-minute Zoom lecture on Cleopatra to 200+ lifelong learners. Exhausted, I want to take the rest of the day off.

I am watching Handel's Agrippina from this fall - met opera.

That's impressive, @@! Dr. T said he thinks cars are now built to last 20 years. I think that's a bit optimistic (and would presumably depend on mileage of course).

I have 12 years and 120,000 miles on my car and it’s still running well! Every year or so I have to fork out money for some repair, but it’s definitely cheaper than a car payment.

Yesterday I broke down crying because of how bad my anxiety got by the end of the day. Hid in the bathroom to try to get space from everyone.
Possible trigger:
Finally managed to calm myself down after an hour and was able to get my homework done.

Hi friends, working today, which is always nice because this furlough sucks. And it's only week two.

I'm feeling moderately depressed. I did paint yesterday though. Acrylic on canvas. May do more tomorrow on my furlough day.
