Ok, so supposed to have a 1:30 today with T2. The instructions I was given for office policy is to wait in your car until your T calls you or comes and gets you... T1’s car is here as is the clients car that is in my usual time slot...bothersome but OK... T2’s car is here but we are going on 20min late and nothing... went to the door and the same signs and stuff are up... my anxiety is off the charts! Thinking T1 didn’t warn T2 I am an OCD rule follower?

though maybe there's something in the air today, as Dr. T was 5 minutes late, when he's usually right on time. He apologized and said he had trouble wrapping up his last session.

Poor T2... we have a bit of a learning curve together but it all worked out OK. She has her clients text her to let her know they are there... problem is she didn’t tell me and never gave me her direct number.
 It was a heck of a curve ball to start things off with but I think we are going to be OK together. Hope you were still able to have a regular session with her. And it does seem like a pretty important instruction to leave out! You'd think that after 20 minutes, she'd have tried calling you.

Yes, we were able to have a regular session. My perception of T2 has always been that she is a tad insecure which often poses problems when working with me as I can be a very alpha female. In all honesty starting off with a huge mistake/miscommunication between the two of us probably was the best way for us to start. She perceived that as grounds for firing her before we ever even started and she was totally flustered by it. I laughed.
