And going back to one i used for dbt. I don't really feel I need this therapist's style right now. My case manager says let her know when to make the change, but I feel kind of guilty about wanting to change. Can I just change or should i tell my therapist?

I would bring it up to them as a curtesy but if you were doing better with the other T I would definitely go back.

I don't think you need to feel guilty for wanting to change therapists!

I'm just in the process of changing therapists myself. My long term t is taking a break at least until new year. I wanted to try a short term support but she was quite bad so I'm going to switch again. I have no sense of awkwardness about it. There was no attachment so I take it like any other service I don't find helpful.

You can change but you can also do both, change and tell the therapist. It can be helpful for the therapist to know that you're not getting your needs met or it's not a good fit right now. Then they can help coordinate with the other therapist to provide updates on your care.

Well i told him today I'm not scheduling with him. I explained things he disagreed. But i talked with my case manager about this decision and she agreed with me. Plus he really bad mouths my mom, how is that helpful? Schedules other people at my preferred time, it's frustrating. I'm always having to adjust my schedule. Hate that.
