Mars and (maybe?) it's largest moons Phobos and Deimos. I know it's Mars from the position in the sky, but not so sure about the moons.

The first year before I changed jobs, I was submitting to insurance and getting reimbursed some, but my current job/insurance our out of network deductible is ridiculously high so i'd never meet it. I hope you are able to work something out that is comfortable for you.

Also sending hugs, Elio. I was also going to suggest what Artie said, as that's what I do--pay up front, then submit to insurance to get partial reimbursement (which is a pain, and they keep holding things up on their end for assorted reasons).

Also, you may be able to see this in your paperwork or you may have to ask your T--but find out how much she *actually* gets paid by your insurance per session. I doubt it's the same as her listed rate. No idea if that would be affordable.

And I know you said you'd feel bad taking a reduced rate. I felt that way at first, but when my insurance changed how much they were willing to reimburse, I negotiated a slightly lower rate with him. And then a temporary lower one so that I could stay at 3x a week for another couple months. I felt bad about it, but he said only half of his clients pay his full rate. And said that's how many T's who don't take insurance structure their practice--they plan to have some paying a lower rate.

Even if you wouldn't feel comfortable paying a reduced rate longer-term, maybe you could negotiate something where you have a lower rate for, say, a couple months so you can still keep going at the same frequency, then gradually work down to twice a week.

And I also feel guilty for the amount I spend on therapy, but my H said he just considers it part of our regular, set expenses, that it's part of healthcare. I hope you can work something out.

LT what you said about therapy being part of healthcare - I think my h has finally come to that realization. After I went back this time in June or whenever it was after a bit of a break, we were talking about it and he said something like "Just do what you have to do and fix yourself." So I am taking him at his word and doing so. I've figured something out about him looking back, too - maybe he meant it when he said it wasn't the money that he minded it was that sometimes he thinks going to therapy makes me worse, and sometimes he thinks I use her as a 'paid friend'. Well, here lately, it's not making me worse, she's been a big help and my overall attitude has improved (I mean that he sees, my sessions have been hard and emotional especially the other day, really kicked my butt... but he doesn't see that). It really is like going to the gym but for my mental health. I'm hoping that once we get through this latest bit of depth work that we've started, that we can do less frequent sessions. I don't ever want to stop completely anymore.

Just got back from getting my bloodwork done
Possible trigger:
and made some scrambled eggs for breakfast. My last 2 assignments got graded, got 20/20 and 19/20. Yay! I'm especially happy with the 19/20 cuz that was the article I didn't want to read in the first place so I only skimmed over it and likely missed something important, I'm glad it only cost me 1 point whatever it was. I will not be asking and I will not be looking at that article again!

Not me. I know 9 people who have had covid (including my t and one of my cousins) and some of them were very sick to the point of hospitalization. It's a scary thing to me no matter who gets it!

Those two certainly deserve to have it more than anyone else.

With regards to therapy - I always felt like if a person had a therapist to tell things to instead of me having to listen to it - yay.

I don't believe in wishing that anyone suffers. L taught me that we're not all angel or all devil. You can hate or be disgusted with someone, but to wish harm to another says more about you than them.

Done with school homework for now, she doesn't post anything ahead of time so I can't start anything early, darn it. Well I guess I could be researching and starting to come up with questions for my survey for my project. I have a headache though so may go take a nap. I was going to start working on t homework, rewriting the lyrics to a song, but I like the song too much I guess it's hard.

I certainly didn't "wish harm" on anyone.

I would never trip a person because I disliked them, but I'm not going to pretend to feel a lot of sympathy if they happen to fall on their face. Oh well.

We did the x-ray because it wasn't too horribly expensive (under $300, still a lot) but after that didn't find anything, decided against the MRI (like you said, $$$$) for the same reason - putting him through so much - and the vet said even if we did that, there were no guarantees they would find anything that could be fixed. So we're managing his diabetes and his mobility issues as well as possible and keeping him comfortable at home. I was talking about it with L recently and she mentioned that there's vets in town that will come to your house when it's time to let him go (she did that with her dog). I hadn't known that. We're going to go with that option so we can be with him when the time comes. Until then, I'm enjoying my time with him when I can.
WFS and Artie, that's what I did too with Esther. I went ahead and paid for X-Rays which were expensive but not ridiculously so but drew the line at an MRI which my vet doesn't even have. He said I would have to go to a specialty vet. Yeah, no thanks. I just keep Esther comfortable, give her the insulin and pray for the best. I can tell some days she doesn't feel as well because she hides under a little table but other times she comes out into the living room and lays down just like normal times. Just keeping a watch on her. She's 16. I think I am ready to let her go whenever she needs to go but always part of me won't be ready because she's my baby.

Hugs, Kit. My vet doesn't have the MRI either, I'd have to go to a specialty place as well. We looked back on some old documents and have determined that my Rascal is 14. A couple days ago he successfully jumped up on the bed, which he had not done in a while ever since he tried a couple of times and fell back to the floor, so that was good to see. He has not done it since though. He mostly sleeps in the closet these days so I put a pile of my shirts in there that I don't wear anymore anyway, and he sleeps on those. From time to time during the day he comes out and sleeps on the couch or the ottoman, he can still jump up on those. He eats pretty well still (since we stopped trying to force him to eat the prescription food which he did not like) and I continue to give him his insulin twice a day. I guess we'll know when it's time to let him go if he starts falling down again, stops eating and doesn't spend any time out with us in the livingroom, and just stays in the closet all the time.

My sister just sent me an awesome video of my niece. My sister's boyfriend is playing his guitar, my 3 year old niece is playing her toy guitar with him. At the end of the video my niece yells "Rock on!", and uses the rock hand signal...lol. It was awesome!

I rarely post stuff ahead of time for the students. Usually I don't want them working ahead because they go in the wrong direction

I have just realised the 2 old guys who used to walk their small dogs past my house havent done it lately. One of the little dogs looked like a chihuahua cross used to throw itself on the ground and just lie in front of my driveway when my dogs barked. It was so funny a little dramatic. Then the guy would try to pull it up and eventually pick the dog up.
