I am waiting for my T appointment. Both T and I are sitting in our cars. I'm waiting for T to get out of the car and open the building. What T is waiting for is beyond me. I see her new car. It's a dark grey Prius whereas her old one was silver. This is so weird. I don't understand what she is doing or why she doesn't open the door to the office. So it gives me a few minutes to look busy on my phone. So strange. T is peculiar though in her own loveable way.

Well, my sister has disowned me again. She and my mom aren't talking, but they ask about eachother. I told my sister that I showed my mom one picture of her and the girls. My sister exploded on me saying I violated her privacy. Then I told her that it was a pattern for her: someone disappoints her and then she threatens to end the relationship. That made her more mad. We were supposed to go to the farmer's market next Saturday, but I've been dis-invited.

How would you guys feel if your t emailed you, out of the blue, a link to an article about people who have lost weight on some carnivore diet (that she's already told me about/been rather pushy about, again without me asking and I told her I wasn't interested, I don't like red meat and don't eat chicken that often either.)? I think I'm not too pleased about it. I have not asked her for help with weight loss. I know I need to quit eating so much crap and start walking more, thankyouverymuch. Now I'm going to be embarrassed to see her next week. I feel super judged, like she doesn't accept me anymore because I have gained weight, and I want to just cancel and never go back. And just when things were going well, too.

Thanks, Lost. I'm sure she had nothing but good intentions, but it sure does feel bad. In fact I feel a LOT like I did when I was a teenager when my Mom used to make my Dad bring the scale into the kitchen and force me to weigh myself in front of them. I feel ugly, worthless, and undeserving of acceptance.

Thinking about leaving ex-husband and moving out - but my Dad's house is halfway across the country though the move to warm weather would be welcome before winter comes.
I have lots to think about before doing this but I'm leaning towards it. |

Artie, i would send her back a link to "Well Your World" or "Krocks in the Kitchen", and tell her that is more your style. Those folks eat stuff like your red lentil chili and post pictures (on youtube and facebook) every day.
Eta - not that i KNOW anything, but if i were you with that weird (sorry!) appendix thing last year, i would not go carnivore! And i would not feel insulted by a recommendation from a person ignorant of nutritional issues. Wth does she eat?! This romance is over for me! She probably eats pork cheeks!
