Hi everyone! I saw T for an emergency appointment on Friday afternoon. She basically talked me down out of a crises. Then she texted me Saturday, Sunday, and today. She even met me at the office because I really didn't want a phone appointment. She was like 30 minutes late but that's okay. It was soooo good to see her and the crisis seems to have passed.

So my Mom has some sort of Amnesia Mild Cognitive Decline which could turn into Alzheimers or Dementia but they don't really know. A twenty page report to basically tell us what we already knew, although the Amnesia part is new. We already do most of the interventions they have proposed. Sigh.

On the subject of Princess Bride, my Uncle rented it for me, my sister, and my cousin when we were young. He thought we would like it. I cried and asked him to turn it off because I was scared (I think there was a fire scene and my dad was a firefighter and I was terrified of fire as a child). My sister and cousin were so glad that I refused to watch it because they were bored. I never have seen the whole thing.

Also when I was a child we went to see A Little Mermaid. I cried so hard when the villain whatever her name is appeared that my Mom took me out of the theater and we just went home. Never have seen the rest of that movie either.

On an interesting note, I was watching The Godfather with my Auntie when I was 4 years old. That didn't bother me at all.

I think the universe is testing me again or something. H and the cat both sick, the audit, and now my car won't start. Pretty sure it's the battery though, at least there's that. Will call AAA in the morning...

I feel for you! I’m way north from the fires and we are at day 5/6 of 250. My husband hasn’t been able to work in the last while because he has asthma and even I’m miserable with no obvious lung issues.

I couldn't use the air conditioner in my car yesterday, even on the recirculate setting, for more than a minute because it was just bringing in smoke.

Session with Dr. T in an hour to address some stuff that came up yesterday that upset me (today instead of tomorrow, so not extra session, just earlier). Nervous about it, because I'm afraid I was sort of harsh about one of the topics in my email. The others, I feel OK about. I'm just worried he'll be defensive. He offered to still reply to the email, but I said I'd rather just talk. As email has led to conflicts before...

he won't. he's sleeping now. i'm hoping it's just stress from the audit (stress that he will never admit to, but nonetheless) and nothing more serious. at least he has his scope thing scheduled for 8 days from now. I know the audit stress is getting to me big time.

Possible trigger:

I haven't eaten since Sunday, and can't stomach the thought of food right now.
