Artie - you have to be able to measure it. When I took research methods, my group and I found tests that already existed and that's how we measured.

Are you going to have to actually do a research project?

Our study was locus of control and parenting styles. We measured two groups of teens: one at a normal h.s. and the other at a at-risk h.s. so we could get a better sample pool. We came in 3rd place But we still passed with a B.

I have a similar one, but all the toilets are really gross, or there are no doors and other people are there, or both.

No it was worse than that actually! That wouldn't bother me, old girl scout that I am, I'd just go find a dream-tree to pee on

Thanks, I'll check out this book.

I hope not, np. I know you are really struggling, but do you want to look back at the end of your therapy knowing you gave it your all, the best you could do under those circumstance out of your control.

Just logged off school for the evening. Our discussion posts tonight were about gambling - we had to read a research article about gambling addiction and treatments and then answer some questions. Interesting topic, h being a poker player and all.

I made banana nice cream since I can't tolerate regular ice cream anymore due to the lactose.

It's bland on its own, so time to find a salted caramel sauce to blend with it.

Supposedly 80 to 90% of Asians are lactose intolerant but the supermarkets in my multi Asian ethnicity country definitely don't reflect that.

My white Norwegian partner told me he actually expected me to be lactose intolerant lol. I was like "wow, my family must been an oddity since my mum is in her 60s and dad in his 70s and they're fine. While I'm the odd one out becoming lactose intolerant at 30."

I've seen a video where the woman also used a mango with the banana. Then added chia seeds and berries on top.

Congrats, Daffy! What exactly is a street library? (We probably call them something different in the US.)

I’m guessing it’s like a Little Free Library.
