Enjoy your grease whilst you have it, SlumberKitty! My hair is greying, dry and frankly has given up on anything but frizz. I look like a badger with an '80s perm. I mean, that's not necessarily a bad look and I am rocking what I have got, but it's good to have oil nourishing your hair.

LOL - the nape of my neck is like beaver fur - it would keep my neck totally dry if i submerged myself to gnaw on a few tree trunks and dam a river, while the top of my head reflects moonlight on my fluvial projects.

Thanks! I hope she's okay too. It's so hard with the insulin. I hope she isn't getting dehydrated. The litter boxes were dry this morning and that's unusual. We have an appointment for Wednesday at 4 so that's good. I'm going to see if I can coax her to eat by giving her some of Amelia's food that is non-prescription. Sometimes if she doesn't have an appetite I can get a little down her that way.

It actually feels like Fall today with temperatures in the 50's. Tomorrow 60's. Wednesday 70's. Then in the high 70's low 80's.

We did a food giveaway at Church this weekend. We've been doing it once a month. This month though we got hooked up somehow with a local food bank and they dropped off 150 boxes of fresh milk, eggs, produce, and meat to give out along with our bags of non-perishables. It was awesome!

Well we're right back in the holding pattern with the audit. The letter (all 4 copies of it) just says that they received our information and would review it by mid-April 2021.

Tried to order a WFH desk so maybe I stand a chance when I go back to work, but after I pay THEN they tell me the desktop I wanted is on backorder and won't ship until late November. Sigh. I potentially need this next week.

Now that I have to cut back to once a week, L is willing to do in-person sessions every other week. I'm so depressed. Now I'll have to choose to miss an in-person session.

Ack, this place doesn’t serve breakfast ‘till 8, and most of the surrounding coffee shops open late as well. Glad I brought snacks!

Picked up a dog for transport to a rescue yesterday and it was upsetting. She was all of 2 or 3lbs and absolutely terrified. Apparently she had been dumped on the side of the road. She actually escaped my car and I spent more than an hour chasing her. It was really scary and I was terrified that she was going to get run over right before my eyes. Luckily, people were really wonderful. She kind of created a traffic jam, though. Finally, she ran into a storage place that was surrounded by fencing. She slipped through the closed gate. I had to squeeze myself under. A handful of people came and helped me. We were finally able to corner her behind a boat and I got her. I have not done so much cardio in at least a decade.

Of course, I was not wearing a mask as I was chasing her and neither were the people who helped me. I was going to go home this weekend, but that ruined my plans. Also can't go in to see the therapist. Oh, well. My own fault. Just glad she is safe now.

Do you have the option of cancelling the order seeing as it hasn't even been shipped yet and trying something else?
