My pdoc wants to pick my next T because he has not liked any of the choices I have had so far.

Personally I would trust my Pdoc to pick a T for me. Last time I asked her to though she couldn’t think of anyone capable of working with me.
I hope it works for you! __________________ There’s been many a crooked path that has landed me here Tired, broken and wearing rags Wild eyed with fear -Blackmoores Night |

Might be a good idea. Sometimes the best therapists are booked up with clients but having another mental health professional send you to them can magically make a spot open up.

I found L through T. T made sure she found someone good to look after me while she was on maternity leave. Sometimes referrals are best.

Both of my therapists came about through referrals. My pcp suggests my long term T because they had worked together before. She said she was the only person she trust to work with me because at the time I was emotionally fragile.
When I was looking for an EMDR T. She strongly recommended current T. She had also worked in the same office and shared many mutual clients. With l my trust issues knowing somebody I trust and understands me trusting another provider is huge. __________________ |

Well he really didn’t give any options at least none that take insurance. However just by chance I looked up a therapist I was interested in before and she had a spot. I am hoping she is as good as people say. Her husband is really nice he didn’t ketamine treatments. I had tried 2 other therapist from this place and didn’t like them but hopefully this is different.

Didn’t think it would be this hard to find a T. Last one I found right away.

I hope your T can find a good T for you too. I wish you well Never experienced my T finding me a new one so I can't personally relate. I wish well with your T finding you a new one. I get the impression that's okay with you and I say what ever makes your toes tap is AOKAY.
