I'm looking to move and been applying to jobs in the city I'm planning on moving to. Would it bad if I told an prospective employer that I'm quitting my current job because I'm being bullied stalked and harassed by a group of people.

I have talked to police they refer to it as gang stalking. Also I feel like a coward for quitting my job and that I'm giving the bullies what they want. It's to the point I fear my own safety

Hi, staying in that job certainly would not be good for your mental health. So yes, get out of it. I don't think there is anything wrong in telling a potential new employer the reasons why you left your last job as long as you don't go on about it too much. In my opinion honesty is always the best thing as lies are something you have to live with and remember! Sorry you have been through this.

yes get a new job and move, your mental health is more important than giving in to these bullies, you cannot change people yet you can change your environment, i know ive been in a similar situation
i only work part time nowadays, less stress less bullies etc. hope this helps

I'm really sorry you're going through that. It is your choice on how much info you give to new prospective employers. You are not required to, if you are uncomfortable about it. But if you want to, then do. for your safety, I'm glad you are looking for a new job.

When I read things about bullies, it makes me mad enough to go find them and snap necks. Being bullied when I was young has made me mean and the kind of person people avoid. (Yes, I prefer it that way, so I don't need "help" with it). I hope you find your "nitch" somewhere and thus find happiness.

I too was gang bullied at work. The head IT guy stalked me online too but I could not prove it to press charges. It's been years since I left and I still have night terrors about it from time to time.....I'm still so paranoid about running into them it holds be back. My heart goes out to you.....it's such an isolating experience. People can be so terrible I just do not understand it at all!!! Yes, get a new job and I would express you are leaving because you worked in a hostile work environment. Some people will not hire people being stalked as they believe it puts their other workers in danger......but if you are being stalked it would be nice to work for someone who cares and would do the right thing to protect you. It's up to you if you wish to disclose.....I say do what makes you comfortable (((hugs)))

I completely understand where you are coming from because I am currently going through this myself. In my case it is my sister best friend is gang stalking me and turning everyone against me. There is nothing legally I can do about it.

I completely understand how you feel because I am going through this myself. I still can't find a job where my stalker don't know where I am at. Every application I had filled out say if you have anyone in your family who has a mental disorder or know someone who has a mental disorder don't even bother applying you will not be hired. I did nothing to cause myself to be stalk. It really bad when it is a family member who start bullying you.

I just wish that I could make the bullying and the gang stalking stop. I wish that they would get in legal trouble for what they did to me. I can't prove that it happening.
