Thank you so much for the article, it's really helpful. I'm reading this and thinking, omg...that's me (a good quote from there): "Codependents are always explaining and justifying themselves. Remember, “No” is a complete sentence." |

[QUOTE=luvyrself;6463539]Guess I’m not cool enough to understand what u mean.
—-I meant I just didn’t have a clue what “no fs given “meant. How incredibly stupid, me being a former teacher. Of course I know what the 12 steps are, my dad having been an alcoholic.[/QUOTE —-I think 12 steps program is best for addictions because they are so tough to defeat due to the nature o f addictions themselves. However, it doesn’t fit everyone who doesn’t have an addiction and I think a rigid “one size its all” attitude for other things like non addiction related co dependence leaves a lot of people out in the cold. I found a workbook for co dependence, that type of thing might help non addiction co dependents. Amazon always has workbooks. __________________ Bipolar 2 with anxious distress mixed states & rapid cycling under severe stress tegretol 200 mg wellbutrin 75 mg, cut in half or higher dose as needed Regular aerobic exercise SKILLSET/KNOWLEDGE BASE: Family Medical Advocate Masters in Library Science Multiple Subject Teaching Credential-15 yrs in public schools |
