—-I think 12 steps program is best for addictions because they are so tough to defeat due to the nature o f addictions themselves. However, it doesn’t fit everyone who doesn’t have an addiction and I think a rigid “one size its all” attitude for other things like non addiction related co dependence leaves a lot of people out in the cold. I found a workbook for co dependence, that type of thing might help non addiction co dependents. Amazon always has workbooks.
