My counselor introduced me to the circle of influence diagram (shown in the below PC article). This may not be new to everyone, but it's certainly helpful.

I like it as a general idea and guideline like don’t share with random people your personal secrets, but am surprised that immediate family is on the same level as trusted coworker. Most certainly my daughter isn’t on the same level as a trusted colleague. Or my brother. Or my late mother.
. I’d say unless one is estranged from their family or they are dangerous,, for most people family is more influential than colleagues |

This is a very helpful diagram Ennie! Thank you very much for sharing. The only thing different for me is that I'd move my immediate family out...out to the unsafe zone. I think a lot of other PC folks could relate to that. Thanks again. I think I'll be coming back to it > once to remind myself
