Hello,
I have a problem with my relationships.

Generally, I am quite confident, extroverted, easy-going and happy. I have some kind of a strong personality. But when I meet with my friends who have strong personality, too, I tend to be distant, quiet and lukewarm. I have some kind of blockade in my mind and I just can't joke around with them, so they think I'm boring and responsible (but I am the total opposite). I think I might be worried that they would judge me. I hate it because I want all of my friends to know the real crazy me.

Why is it happening? Is it possible that this type of people make me uncomfortable even if I do like them? How to just relax and have fun with them? I have problems with my self-esteem. May it be the cause? How to fix it?

Thank you very much

Do you tend to view people who have "strong" personality traits as better? For example, do you value extroversion more than introversion? Is it possible that when you're hanging out with other strong personalities, you subconsciously are worried or think that they are better than you? It sounds like you feel a little bit intimidated by people with those traits you listed.

Or maybe not. Just brainstorming with you.
