Well it’s not really a long time since you broke up.
I dated a guy in my late 20’s for about 8 months that honestly it took me a year to really get over him and move forward. Another guy I dated for about the same amount of time I honestly was over him with in a month or so. I think it’s important to grieve the loss of a relationship. It’s impossible to start something new if the past hasn’t been worked out. Do you have a Therapist?? If not finding one to help you process it all can be a huge help. Maybe journaling would help get the emotions out of your head.. You will find love , you will be able to open up to someone again. Go easy on yourself. __________________ Helping others gets me out of my own head ~ |

You won't miss being loved by somebody if you love yourself. Are you taking care of yourself, being gentle with yourself, doing things to relax that you enjoy, etc?

I agree! Not waiting until you are ok with being loved by yourself, friends, family, a higher power, etc. will only bring the unhealed wounds into another relationship.
