Default With you?

I'm always telling T how after about 10mins, who evers company I'm in. Be it friends of family. I felt so intensely uncomfortable thst I want turn to go.
I hate feeling like this. Especially with close family.
T Said, that's to be expected. As most if your abuse happened within close family it makes sense you feel this way.
I said "I wonder if I'd feel this, way with you if we were in another setting?"
T said, "you would, because our relationship wouldn't be like it is in session. As intense."

Default Re: With you?

Thats a good observation.

Going into family gatherings, historically, i think i was immediately abandoned for the duration. My mother wouldnt check with me to see how i was doing, unless i happened to be in her path on the way to the bathroom. I usually brought books with me.
