I found my true self again today, my divine self... I had forgotten her, buried her, or left her behind somehow. Either way, I rediscovered a deep sense of peace and inner tranquility that I have not felt in ages. I feel blessed and most grateful.

Our "true" essence, our divine being

I love The Power of Now! The theme of non-attachment to body (because attachment brings suffering) is so liberating!

There’s an online course on Udemy that speaks on Identity Consciousness, and it’s based on the statement “I am a spirit, living in a body, possessing a soul”. It mentions that we are the energy force within ourselves that has power to create. The body is a vessel and it is only useful when it is in partnership with this internal energy force. It also speaks about not identifying with our pain/body/suffering because we are the spirit energy that can overcome all suffering. So so powerful! I’ll post a link.

Yes! And thanks so much for sharing this!!!!

The Power of Now I found to be most profound and life changing. I must read it again.... it's been a few years, but I absolutely loved the concepts put forth in that book. I could relate to everything it said about Spirit, the true self, the Pain Body and life suffering, just as you're talking about.

Hugs to you!!
