@Deilla how did Jazzy's appointment go? Is she feeling better? My cat Esther I have had to give pills to before (antibiotics) but sometimes they give me antibiotics that I can give her with a syringe. Neither is exactly easy but the syringe is a bit easier than the pills. She spit out one and I couldn't find it but she took all the rest of them. Now if I had to try to give them to my other cat, Amelia, I'd probably end up all scratched up. She's never scratched me but she is super independent and doesn't like to be held or anything like that. I'd have to hide it in her food or something! I hope Jazzy is feeling better!

Hi! I wasn't able to make the appointment. I was too anxious. But I'm taking her in the morning when there's no traffic. I already got dressed and ready. I just need to finish up in the morning, get my cat in the carrier and go. I feel better about tomorrow but there still is some anxiety. Yea, I have another cat that's like that. Very independent. He doesn't like to be held. But he's been good about eating his meds with his food. Jazzy can taste it in hers. I've had some luck with pill pockets.

Thanks for checking in with us.

I've had a tough couple of days. I took my cat to the vet and got some medication for her. One is a stool softener. I was able to give that with food. Next, I have to give her the antibiotic. I'll try mixing it with a wet treat. She seems to be doing much better. The vet gave her her pain pill. I'll give that again in the morning. I'm very sad and feel lonely tonight. I've been struggling with this and I've had no family members to talk to. And my online therapist has been out of town. It doesn't matter what it is, whenever I have a problem, there's no one there for me. I'm afraid I'll be alone for the rest of my life.

A lot of sound today, both good & bad. I wish so much for a day of or even part of a day of a quiet mind.

Thank you! Today's been much better for me. I got a lot of chores done. And I was able to take care of my cat. My therapist has been responsive and my step-mom chatted with me for a bit. I thought that was nice. Also, I was able to talk to my sister J. She took a break from work and texted me for about 10 minutes. I am very thankful for that. She was very kind.

And I appreciate everyone here for all the support I receive. I have people. It's just that sometimes I get so lonely. I have to start reframing those thoughts.

I'm glad today is much better. Reframing thoughts is hard but it is rewarding usually!
