nursing students and instructor laughing at paranoid schizophrenic scenario.

ive been laughed at by medical staff plenty of times.

they are getting bold with the medical residents putting videos on youtube for brainless enjoyment.

let me reiterate. this is NOT bold. this is just plain stupid.

I've been laughed at as well. This is not funny. They are so inept. The students should be made to understand prior to this role-play that these situations are based on real people in crisis and it is not to be laughed at.

I think some sensitivity training is definitely in order. Someone made a comment criticizing the laughter, and the poster responded they were just laughing because they're used to seeing their instructors acting more "straight faced and professional."

Okay, I've listened to it using head phones. This is definitely meant to be a comedy routine, not an educational experience. I wish I knew which school sponsored this disrespectful display, so I could send them an email. Probably would do no good.

I am truly appalled by this video. We're actually training student nurses to have no empathy for suffering people!

thing is its bad enough random people do it but to put it up from a nursing school/class from the ACTUAL class really is disturbing.

they have another video making fun of a manic episode of bipolar. Called "She wants to goto vegas" and this older woman is portraying bipolar in a bad light.

I think she's from Charlotte, NC. Or Mount Ulla? She commented on a memorial video for a young man who lived and died there. She said he was going to teach her to skateboard, so I'm assuming they lived near each other. Of course, that doesn't mean that's where she's going to college. I can't understand the video well enough to tell if those are southern accents.
