the only thing I can tell you is my own experiences...

Ever since I was very young I recall hearing voices..... some are they same ones over and over.....

One is a little girl as well...sometimes she just repeats saying "hello" over and over..... other times she cries out "help me!" over and over.....

There are two babies I hear that cry.... sometimes they dont and can be very comforting to me with their coos.... I often connected them to the twin boys my lost at 6 months pregnant when I was 2 yrs old.... ( she always lost two other boys-one before me, and then one yr before my son was born)

I hear noises and voices that I cannot make out the cause or the connection or any real words as well..

I hear my "others" fairly often but usually can tune them out.... There are times when I cannot tune noises or voices out and become overly senstive, like they are amplified by 100.....

I hear a variety of voices in different tones saying my name tauntingly....

I cannot tell you anymore..... they are getting irritated with me..... confusing my thinking... sorry.....

I know that when I hear voices I mostly hear complex voices. Voices that carry on sometimes rhetorical conversations with themselves, me or other voices i.e. The voice of Satan shouting at God telling him he's an old fool with no power. I've also heard screaming and laughing from the voices as well as violent commands from two voices that told me to bash people in the head and do things of that nature. I think hearing a living breathing shouting voice is more disturbing than hearing just noises but both are very scary and very disturbing. They also both need a recommendation from a pdoc or T.

Absolutely, 18yrsdead... Voices are more common for me, but I've heard the sound of a loud motor, laughing, breathing, insects, thunderstorms, crying along with other things that don't come to mind right now.

That's upsetting that he'd laugh at you over that. question about auditory hullucinations It's a real thing... and it's no less real than any voice. Sorry to hear that. >< I hope the rat-gnawing sounds don't come back.

(This moment's hallucination: a wind-like voice, probably male, and a distinctly male voice, saying they know what to do with me. And a third saying "let me out". Now more. WHY MORE? Usually there aren't this many...)
