What are some movies you recommend watching? Or watched recently?

I just recently bought moana, but it's also on Netflix...I just love the way they animate the ocean....I saw it first on a dreary winter day and it just lifted my spirits...

I watching movies!

Last night I watched The Way on BBC iplayer. It's about a dad whose son dies on a pilgrimage between France and Spain, so the father completes it for him and scatters his ashes along the way. Sounds morose, but it really wasn't as he meets some characters along the way. And the scenery was beautiful!

Then today my family and I went to see Valerian in the cinema. The 2 lead actors were a bit wooden at times, but the story was really interesting and the cgi was really good too.

I love all cartoon movies like finding nemo, finding dory, cars, mega mind, lots more. Grown up cartoons like archer, stupid americans, and some anime. Live action movies lately ive watched swiss army man, the joy luck club, paper man, ink, and the martian.

Nemo in Latin means "no one". Captain Nemo is captain nobody. I like the symbolism of this "nobody" trying to find themselves.

I saw Split when it first came out. That was fantastic. Be careful, it might trigger you. The end has it connecting it with another movie making it part of a super hero series perhaps. I love how dark it was. It was more mythological than pop culture super human movies I thought.

I saw it while it was still in the theaters, very interesting movie. I did like it though, as well as the tie in at the end.

I went and seen The Dark Tower a couple of weekends ago. It was pretty good, I hadn't read the books it is based on so I had no knowledge of it. However, a friend who was with me said it left a lot out and left you wanting a lot.
