Hi,
I’ve got a little bit of a confession. For the past 4 days I’ve been getting headaches and feeling **** as I am withdrawing from 15mg of Zyprexa and 20mg of Lexapro. The reason for this is that I ordered a LSD tab off the dark net... never taken it before and I’m sure it’s not the right thing to do given my history with psychosis since 2013 but I dunno. I seem to be able to be happy for a while then I start to question my medication. I’ve told my family that I am back to taking my medication... I just needed to tell some people about what My plan is...

Antipsychotics decrease connectivity in the brain to allow psychosis to decrease (Along with everything else - Which sucks) but as time goes on, neurogenesis happens (Especially if you're under 25) to cause a crystalized contact with reality.

Withdrawal of the antipsychotics increase connectivity in the brain to more than it was before you started them, worsening psychosis (Withdrawal psychosis) so neuroplasticity happens to make the psychosis a more crystalized psychosis so when you start the antipsychotic again, it's less likely that the antipsychotic will work.

If you use a psychedelic while in antipsychotic withdrawal, it causes neuroplasticity AND neurogenesis to a previously crystalized state of psychosis, causing irreversible psychosis and schizophrenia.

I would stay away from psychedelics. I remember experimenting with them back in the early 70's when I was going to college. I was taking psychology 1A and remember reading about the symptoms of psychosis just that week in the text book. One night I was really tripping on LSD and thinking at that time, this must be what it is like to be psychotic.
There is a thing called temporal lobe lability which varies between individuals. Most people with psychosis are on the high end.
