Me too! I have to be up in 6 hours to go to my creativity class. I'm hoping it's not a waste of time like last week's was. I resented being sat in a class on 45mins sleep for no good reason :/

I'm curious though, at the time, how did you think the hand sanitiser or turmeric would help??

Obviously, I've heard a lot here about the useless ones. I've met a couple myself IRL who were completely useless too. It puts me off doing it, to be honest. I mean, I've done it in the past, in my parent's city, but that was in social care rather than in healthcare, and I kept my experiences on the DL so it was kinda more support work than 'peer'. Well, the NHS in my city does a peer support worker course, and I keep umm-ing and ahh-ing about whether to bother even thinking about doing it...... I don't really want to do it though.

To be clear, I'm not saying that peer support isn't a useful and important aspect of the treatment team AT ALL. But I was talking to my friend tonight who is returning to medicine after a break due to physical ill-health, and that's what I really want. To go back to medicine. And so peer support feels like a pretty poor third choice (psychology was my second choice, and that didn't work out either), especially since I never hear stories about peers who are really good at their jobs... :/

Idk...

My pss helps. (Peer support specialist). We just work on life skills. Like how how to do banking, cooking, job stuff, etc stuff like that.

That's interesting because you complained a lot about how she doesn't listen and allows her own issues/judgements etc to cloud her responses to you. At least that was my impression of your work together...is that wrong then??

ETA: Actually, haven't you had more than one?? Maybe I'm thinking of a previous one??

Idk I guess I had the bottle by my desk and it said it killed 99% of germs and I thought it’ll cleanse my insides.

Turmeric idk I guess I googled and some people say that turmeric can help with skin mites so I figured hey maybe they’re onto something.

Interesting, I've never heard that before. Is it meant to be ingested, or applied topically??

But Dr Google really isn't a good idea at times like these. There's all sorts of bad advice out there. And information that can lead to all kinds of health hysteria. Sometimes, a little knowledge can be a dangerous thing...

Yup...having just enough knowledge can be a dangerous thing...In my computer experience I've seen multiple examples of that... (no worries SP! you've sounded thorough in your studies! ) and it sometimes almost cost them hardware. I don't even wanna imagine medical...

Told my husband I’m going to bed at 10:30 with or without him. I’ve been ready for hours.
Keep your fingers crossed for me tomorrow. The dog tends to wander down back for a while and I only have about 30 minutes to get it done and back home for my kids. Ick cleaning a second kitty litter box.
I was talking about cutting my hours and my husband said he was too Roll Call 122. I then reminded him that I do all the cooking, cleaning, child care, animal care, wifely duties on a daily basis so I’m good at 20 and hopefully I’ll get back to that. It’s funny he would even say anything because he is 100% against me working. He tells me to quit all the time. He was just teasing me But it pissed me off a bit. He apologized and I didn’t make his dinner plate Roll Call 122

I think they meant topically but I was thinking internally because I wasn’t thinking straight.

Google isn’t a good idea, that’s for sure. But again, hey I wasn’t thinking straight.

We’ve all done ill advised things. I’m just glad you are okay. Stay away from the sanitizer!

Yeah I take it with dinner which is for sure more than 350 calories. I don’t know what’s going on. I’m sure I took it last night like 100% positive.

I’ve been so up and down lately must have just been some breakthrough. Even on good days I sometimes feel a little off like I’m walking a fine line of delusional and not.

I don’t really want to go up anymore on the Latuda or even switch it but idk. I’ll have to see what my doctor says next week.

I can add it to my crazy list. Mouthwash, cough syrup, ketamine, and now hand sanitizer!
