Post your thoughts, your feelings, and your actions.

Lately all these things for me have been exhausted. I struggle to get the energy running for me to lift my head and say - Something - enough to keep going.

The engine is wearing down. I need a reset of the brain. Therapy, psychs? Which? No one knows. I know me..

And you know you.. So post away my friends!

@SP

Yes unlimited music is part of prime. Idk about the homepod but you can ask alexa stuff like “play rebellious rock music” and shell play it. Theres playlists curated by emotion. Curated by anything you want.

I looked at a Wordpress blog that I made years ago and had 15 followers or something still.

One follower with mental illness stopped posting for two years and wrote this;

"It has been 2 years since I’ve logged in.
2 years since I’ve shared with the world my progress, my accomplishments, the ups & downs; my struggles.
2 years since I’ve found the courage to write a new post about my whereabouts.
2 years since I’ve found myself, my voice…my soul.
Hello Phoenix followers!
It’s me Phoenix. Writing to you on a chilly Friday to update you on my mental health progress.
Last time I blogged, it was December 2014. At that time I re-entered my university after a medical leave of absence.
Where have I been you may ask? I got my life together.
I focused on what it is I wanted to accomplish; my motivation to live and breath everyday: to graduate with my Bachelors.
And so I did..used the last year and a half to focus my dreams. I am happy to say I will be graduating this May with my Bachelors in Chemical Engineering and very proud to say I am mentally “stable”.
Of course “stable” is very ambiguous. My “stability” may be quite different than yours. To elaborate…stability for me in this case means comfortable with the terms of my mental health disorder. I have embraced my major depressive disorder and bipolar disorder like the several birthmarks on my body.
Now everything is not “happy-go-lucky”. There are several times my mind wonders and I enter into a depressive state where I get lost in myself, in my thoughts and feelings.
But what do I do when this happens? I go for a run, work out, try to engage in a fun activity (like computer and phone games) or research random facts. Something to distract me from the evil monsters that tend to come and go when they please.
Something I’ve learned in the past year is that I, you, we are in control of our thoughts and feelings. We have the power to change our mind, alter our perspectives and scare those evil monsters away.
I hope you all are well. Know that there is always someone/something in your corner whether it is your friend, a family member, your dog or cat, or even your vegetable garden.
My goal is continue to share my story with the world in hopes to encourage others battling with mental illnesses.
Be well."

Yeah that actually sounds cool....and it can control a fire right? I was looking into google play and it seems not to have the same quality curation of Apple Music so maybe I’ll have to move into the amazon ecosystem after all. I can’t see paying over $300 for a HomePod that can’t control my tv and has less features like home integration etc. idk I’ll probably see how fast I get tired of commanding google then if I’m still into it switch into amazon or just get used to the free options.

You shoulda gotten an echo when they had Prime Day yesterday. Bunch of amazon sales one day a year. The echo is 32 percent off. Like 30 dollars off. It might still be going on. They said its gonna be going on for 36 hours.

Just noticed this....still 8 hrs left...was looking at the echo plus....could control lights and stuff, idk....could get prime and echo plus and fire stick for like $250 mostly because prime is expensive now. I’m just not sure if I’ll eventually tire of the novelty....plus it’s been a while since I’ve used amazon music....I’m not great at finding my own music, Apple really helps with that. Have to think fast.

I dont use jt everyday but its great. I also use it when i have company.

You can tell it to play the sound of rain. Or even ambient music.

Spotify pissed me off once I learned they will only let you put 10k songs in your library total. That's like 30gigs in your library. That's nothing. I miss apple ipods. I had one of those 120gig classics. They might still be the best music player. They go for like 500 now because they are so great.

I convinced my boss to get an iPhone with 256gigs because he'll use it and his ipod 160gig just broke down finally.

Eh so there’s a problem...I stream xfinity on the roku....it’s not on the fire stick and roku can only connect with these home systems via a third party app called quick remote which seems less fluid. Too bad I can’t have roku with Apple HomePod that would be the perfect mix....make it happen Apple!

I can't even get youtube on my freaking amazon stick, because google said f off to amazon, so they had to take it out of the features. Google is too big.

Almost didn’t take my meds tonight. Took them a little later and chowed down on some candy.

I stared at them for a full minute before taking them. Sometimes this feeling just comes over me and it’s hard to take them.

But I did. I took them. I won’t be all on edge and weird tomorrow so that’s good.
