A lot of negative symptoms prevents me from bothering to cook my own meals so I just walk over to my moms place to eat. But I hope this thread gives me motivation to learn recipes online and cook meals myself.

The couple that lives in my dorm always drive to the grocery store and cook in the dorm. They said they would teach me some of their recipes and drive me to the grocery store to pick up food.

So tired though. I used to sleep 16-18 hours a day maybe because of the antipsychotics idk why but it's better now.

I'll post pictures of what I've made on this thread and the recipes..... I'll take pictures with my Samsung Galaxy Note 9 cameras it will be cool!

I live in an adult family home and I've started to cook my own food sometimes because what the caretaker serves us is pig slop. I also get pre-packaged meals delivered to the house so I also have something to eat when I don't feel up to cooking myself. The service is called Freshly. It's good food and the portions are just right.

DT's Chili recipe:
I use beefless beef, which is a full protein, but you guys can you regular beef if that's what you prefer. I put my beef substitute in a pan with my onions and let them cook and share flavor. When those are done I put them in a gigantic pot.
Add to the pot
One can of chili beans (hot)
Can of black beans
Can of kidney beans

Cut some green and red peppers and throw them in the pot.

Cut some celery and put them in the pot

Cut some carrots and put them in the pot

I cut a **** load of garlic, let's say one garlic, but I sometimes add more, and I put it in the pot.

Then I get a large can of ddiced tomatoes and put it in the pot

Then I empty a can of campbells tomato soup into the pot.

Then I add a dash of cinnamon, lots of chili powder, and red pepper flakes into the pot until you find the flavoring you enjoy.

(one ex girlfriend actually put taco seasoning into it, and it was awesome!)

Cook for at least 2 hours all together and enjoy

Chili has always been my comfort food. Sometimes I cook some rice and serve the chili over rice.

One date food that I always use to prepare for ladies is steak salad.

Get a flank steak, cube the top of the steak to prepare it for a bottle of Italian dressing. Put the steak into a ziplock bag and add Italian dressing and let sit in the fridge for 3 hours.

While you're doing that I recommend getting Blacked crack pepper salad dressing, and romaine lettice heads, and prepare those for a salad. Also, this is a must, every one knows little ceasars makes the best bread (crazy bread), get two orders of that.

Then cook the flank steak, (I like mine medium rare). Then after it is cooked cut, add the salad dressing to the cut romaine, and toss. Then cut the cooked flank steak nto thin strips, and serve them over the salad, and serve with crazy bread.

This sounds so cool and cooking can be relaxing and fun! So many smells, textures, colors! And it can be very easy.
Today I simply cut two red peppers in half, filled with mozzarella and put bacon on top. Baked for 20 minutes. I have two lunches (today and tomorrow) in 35 min including preparation and washing the dishes.
