Good evening/afternoon everyone. How are things going today?
I'm okay. Working on trying to resurrect my roommate's Galaxy Note 4. If I succeed I will attempt to trade my Galaxy S7 with her. I loved the Note 4. One of my favourite phones of all time. What's everyone up to today? |

I’m looking up different recipes for thanksgiving. I’m tired of the old same thing. I don’t eat turkey unless it comes from the deli. So I need new sides.
Anyone eat anything a little off beat? __________________ Schizoaffective, PTSD, Anxiety

I cannot tell everyone, how lucky I am, that nearly all of my quotes for my book are almost all in the public domain with their translations. It's awesome that they keep on making new and better translations, some of which are superior, but still, I'm able to use Samuel Butler, Alexander Pope, William James, Jowett translations of plato, Ross translation of Aristotle. It just keeps going on and on.

Okay, partial success! Reloaded the stock rom on the Galaxy Note 4. It's working. But I am installing everything onto the phone and charging the battery to 100% and then going about my business to see how it fares up.

I think worse case scenario you might need a new batter given how old it is. The batter on my S8 Galaxy goes down to 85% in a matter of a couple hours, then it goes much slower.

Yup. She's gone through a number of batteries she said though. But she plays 3D games on her phone a lot. I don't know of a single situation where gaming mobile doesn't kill the battery quickly. So I'm running Accubattery to analyse the battery's health and my discharge rates and capacity, etc. The screen does have some burn in though. It's subtle but there. That will bring the value of the device down quite a bit seeing as the screen is the single most expensive component of the device. |

I also discovered that Samsung pushed out an update to Note 4 users with the SM-N910F model that fixes battery life issues. It would not be something my roommate would use seeing as she does not use stock OS on her device. I am okay with this. I am downloading that ROM to see how it works.
I really enjoy doing these phone hardware things and such. |

Someone told me there were blue apples at 7 Eleven when I was a kid, I'm sure they were talking about the flavor but I thought they sold literal blue apples there so I kept trying to get my mom to go there and buy me one
I didn't know what a synonym was when I was little and the teacher asked "Does anyone know what a synonym is" I confidently raised my hand and told him that it was the stuff you put on toast, (cinnamon toast ) I was completely serious , I thought he said cinnamon. __________________ R.I.P mom 8/6/55-1/15/16 “All the darkness in the world cannot extinguish the light of a single candle.” -St. Francis of Assisi

would one consider schizophrenia "special needs"? it's hard to think of myself that way but when others talk about their children with schizophrenia they call them special needs...

I don't see it as being special needs either. When I think of special needs I think of someone who has some sort of intellectual disability. Cognitive impairment is a little different, as Loial stated our inherent intelligence is always there though it may be impaired by the illness sometimes

mental illness in general... i[ve heard people call it special needs. it's weird... although it's an illness and at its most severe is hard to say for some. like those with the illness who are at its most severe locked up in psych wards. then again you hear success stories of those who thought theyd be locked up in a ward for the rest of their lives.
