Its known too as 22Q Deletion syndrome. It effects the immune system,(thymus) facial features and can cause a person to be born with cleft palate. Reason I mention it is that it can cause schizophrenia. Its I think 1 out of 20,000 births so it certainly isn't a common cause of this major mental illness. Still I'd like to know if any member here is familiar with it. I know a womanfriend&her daughter with it.
