Whats everyone doing today? I'm just working (sort of). My boss wanted me to come in early, so OT I guess. I have therapy tonight. Wishing I were at home in bed, sleeping right now. Bleh. Not real motivated. HUGS to anyone who wants one. Kit

Welp, The snow storm started at about 10:30am, since it started late, my boss said to come in at 9, and we'll see what happens. I text my boss, "Winter is Coming" by 11am because it was crazy outside. 90% chance of snow until 9PM. I told my boss at 11 that if it gets ccrazy im leaving. so at 12pm I left. It was pretty crazy on the roads! I saw one guy in the ditch on the highway. I saw 3 fire trucks going in different direcgtions. Every time a semi truck passed me I could only see like 20ft in front of me, if even. I could only see so far head of me when trucks weren't passing! I had to take the long road home so that I didn't have any uphill stop light, because there is no way I'd make it up the hill. That was pretty crazy... It took me over an hour to get home--it took only half an hour to get to work.

So I’m having my surgery March 21st. I’ll be 2 weeks in a hard brace and 3
Or 4 in a removable brace. I’ll have use of my fingers so that’s cool. Just going to take the 21st and 22nd off then it’s the weekend. I should be good by Monday.

Ended up taking a nap for a couple hours. Between my morning meds and the 1 mg of klonopin I took to get myself to go do laundry I was tired.

I'm on a roll. Went to the pharmacy, the store, the laundromat, organized my apartment, refilled my weekly med case, and did the dishes I know it doesn't sound like much but I had been struggling doing things like that lately

It is a lot! Sometimes just taking care of our basic needs can be a real challenge.

Just shoveled our two parking spaces and the walk. It only took a half hour, not bad! I started working on Goethe's Faust, the George Madison Priest. I was in a good mood until thescreen door opened to find out my roommate never paid rent.. she is 28 days late on rent. That just killed my mood.

Seriously, all she needs to pay a month is $360. She can't save $80 a week? :/

Maybe I'll start to offer to front the money so that she can breathe, and the amount I pay go toward the next month. They are charging her for court fees now that are $250 in penalties.

I'll offer her $200 dollars and put it to next months rent. Her student loan debt is crushing, so she only nets 50% of her pay check after taxes, health insurance, and the garneting by her student loan debt. I guess that would be tough. 25% of my paycheck now going to taxes is difficult even for me.

car insurance, health insurance, utilities, rent, taxes, student loans. It all adds up and society makes people work for pennies. What ive learned about wages is that even federal emmployees live pay check to pay check now! They use to be in the middle class, but slowly and surely the governmet has choked us out of nearly everything. Not even the money i make now isn't very much. There's a reason the progressive movement has taken over the democrats.

God Hillary Clinton is suggesting she might run for president. God that makes me sick. Thank you , next! if all i got to say. She would have made a decent president but she already lost to obama and Trump, just stay away please. We need progressives now, not Clinton. She lost to the worst candidate ever in our history, and she wants round two? Nope! I mean, I'll vote for her again, but I would be angry about it. I'd like to see some younger, fresher, faces.

Sorry I missed this one. Work got inexplicably busy right around the chat time, we were all running around like all over the place trying to answer the boss's questions.
