Making this for myself for dinner. Using sweet potatoes instead of white. Minus the Parmesan. That doesn’t offend me. I hate Parmesan.

I’m totally trying to buy into this diet thing. It’s hard because I am of the belief that we should enjoy everything in moderation. Buuuut...I know I eat like **** and you are what you eat. I eat a lot of veggies already but I also eat a ton of dairy-mostly cheeses, carbs, processed foods, and red meat.
I can pretty easily give up meat. I should anyway since red meat is linked to colorectal cancers and I’m already at high risk. Dairy will be tougher because I love cheese and eat it pretty much everyday. I also use yogurt for a quick snack. Carbs will never happen. I’ll try “sprouted” health breads but I’m kinda picky. And I really really like dessert breads...banana bread, zucchini bread, cranberry bread...you get the picture lol. And I hate seeds and nuts and there are a lot of recipes that call for them. So who eats healthy? Any vegan-ish suggestions? I need to find suitable replacements. And I won’t do soy anything. __________________ Schizoaffective, PTSD, Anxiety

I'm just sort of working. I finished my work this morning so now I'm just here at work if someone needs me. In between I'm laying my head on my desk and reading PC. Stupid migraine. I feel sort of dissociative now but I'm not sure if that is the headache meds or just me. Eek. Kit

Try vegetarian cooking for everyone by Deborah Madison it’s fantastic she does not do a lot of tofu but focuses on veg. She’s more likely to use rice or a chickpea for protein although there can be cheese....find a recipe of hers online and see if you like the style. __________________ Hugs! |

I'm having Goulash for dinner tonight with my parents: Planned Social Interaction Time. P.S. The pasta kind of Goulash, not the stew kind of Goulash.

Soup was pretty good. Had 2 bowls...still hungry lol.
Actually took my meds for the first time in days. Reduced the lamictal since it’s been more than 3 days. __________________ Schizoaffective, PTSD, Anxiety

I see the neurologist next Wednesday and then the follow up appt to schedule the surgery/ies on the 28th.
I’m not superstitious but historically February is a horrible month for me. I’m slightly concerned about having even this minor surgery during the month. That sounds crazy but February really sucks for me. I’m thinking of putting it off until March. My husband says I’m being silly and I should go as soon as they can get me in. I would like it gone...it’s ugly and it hurts. But it’s only a 28 day wait and it would be less stress inducing if I waited. __________________ Schizoaffective, PTSD, Anxiety
