Tomorrow is my two weeks since coming home from ip. I see both my therapist and my new pdoc (the one who dxd me with schizoaffective.)

I’m not sure why but I am nervous to see the dr. It’s my first time seeing this pdoc outpatient.

On a good note!
I am back working part time and feeling well for the first time since hospital discharge! I’m almost happy!

That's great! Glad you're doing better

I get nervous about seeing new doctors too, it takes me awhile to feel comfortable around new people

Hi Halliebeth, I hope your appointments go well. It's always hard to meet with someone for the first time in a new environment. I hope it is a productive session. HUGS Kit

Thanks friends. I mean I know he’s nice because he was my IP pdoc. I just don’t know what he’s like in private practice. He’s the dr who suggested ECT.

My IP doc became my first pdoc and he was by far the best, I hope your experience is similar....

It went well! He’s so nice!!!

He said I look so much better (trust me, inpatient Hallie
Doesn’t look too hot!)

He mentioned how I just wasn’t getting any better despite his best efforts and that’s why he suggested ECT. And ect worked for me! I have a maintenance session next Friday!

I am so glad i switched. Did I mention he’s literally a driveway up the road from my psyd’s office? Super convenient!
