I looked in my area and can't find a single support group for people with paranoid scitsophrenia. I am trying to learn coping skills, but at the same time talking to others helps me out. This site has some very kind people on it who have helped me, so I was wondering what other either groups in person or online groups there are for people with this illness.

Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Besides learning coping skills and taking my meds, and seeing my doctor/therapist, I think talking to others who have this might help me. Besides sharing, I want to learn from others who have this.

I'd imagine they have some good ideas and want to learn their perspective on things. I'm trying to do everything I can to walk the path I intend to walk, so anything that helps me is a positive thing. Thank you for any help you can give me. You guys are a kind group of people and I could learn a lot from you all.

NAMl is one if they have one close by, also DBSA is for everyone with mental illness, not just depression and bipolar so that might be worth checking out

I go to Emotions Anonymous 12 step meetings. It is not specific for any kind of mental disorder but helps with my coping skills and feelings of isolation, and so forth.
