Basically the title says it all. Just depressing. I can understand why, there are numerous reasons: I don't work on it all day, I have trouble studying, I don't have a good art background. But after 10 years you would think I would have made some progress... I guess I have made some but I want to make money because I feel as though I can't work in an office or with other people.

Maybe you have a learning disability. Have you ever been tested for it?

I did go to school but then I couldn't finish because I got ill. That was a long time ago, and I don't want to go through that again. It was such a waste of money because I didn't do anything with it. That is mostly why I want to get somewhere with this because I started it. I also had some bad experiences early on with getting help for 3D on forums. Recently I have been on another forum though and I might see if I can get someone to volunteer their experience to help me out, like a mentor or a guide. |

Food for thought for sure. I don't really know what else I could try, I don't really feel like I could do school right now anyway. Thanks for your input Sometimes psychotic

Hi look When i was ilness free i have studied microcontroller programming in C language . it took me a lot of focus and commitement to achive some important results though but i was a beast.
Now after going through my psychosis , i didnt make a dollar out of the stuff i studied apart from some easy repairs like swapping bad parts with good parts.. autistics can do that. (with all respect for them) I dont know if its the illness or is it the change. I just feel like my mind got screwed up. Now i got back to my code and i feel like i have never understood a thing. |

HI ProactivX, What degree did you achieve? Its interesting to me because I think I may have a "disorganized thinking" type of schizoaffective/ schizophrenia, and this is vital for actually accomplishing anything, but the more advanced you get the more vital it is it seems. Like coding I would think requires a great deal of ability to organize your thinking/thoughts and apply that organization. I think (after years of struggling) that the basics seem to help... Like reestablishing order through reminders and actually manually organizing things on paper so they cannot get distorted. As far as coding, this may give you an impression of my ability to code. I think it was last year I spent like six months trying to make a basic portfolio website, can't handle CSS and HTML. Come to think of it maybe that might be something you could do. Far more manageable and people make a living.
