What do you mean by the term "tense"? Do you mean anxiety? If that's the case, it would ruin me as well. I lean on alcohol in those trying wintery times. I don't recommend that of course, it's my own weakness bleeding through.

Does thus tenseness just come about situational or biological? What are your recent med changes?

Does it feel like an internal restlessness where you have to keep on tapping your feet as you feel like you want to crawl out of your skin? If that's the case, it might be akathasia, which is an awful side-effect from AP's. All it takes usually is a pill called Cogentin. It's very cheap generic drug that costs maybe 6 bucks a month where I from.

If it is not internal restlessness (akathasia) then the first line of treatment for panic and anxiety is an SSRI or SNRI. FOr some reason I recall that you're on one, maybe you could raise the dosage?
Yes the tense feeling is severe anxiety, it's not situational and it's not akathisia, I've had that before and it's different. Haven't had any recent med changes. I'm taking paxil and wellbutrin along with my other meds so I'm going to see about getting the paxil changed to zoloft since that helped me in the past. I'm on the max dose of paxil, 60mg and wellbutrin is 200 mg so maybe the wellbutrin can be raised. I guess I'll see what she says thursday

Saw doctor. He prescribed zopiclone at night PRN for sleep when I need to wake up early in the morning for skiing, hiking, etc or when I work part time.

It's that med that can leave a metallic taste in the mouth.

He said he took one last night cuz he finds it hard to get a good sleep (But doesn't take it every night). I'm the opposite where I find it hard to get to sleep but once I'm asleep, I stay asleep.

This was a different doctor that said he prescribes zopiclone PRN while my doctor (He's away on holidays) likes to prescribe temazepam PRN (But I know Job takes 30mg a night and still can't sleep so not good.. But prolly cuz it wasn't taken PRN..)

I’m wondering if I should give up sweets for lent. It would be soooo difficult but I kind of want to see if I can do it. That would be February 26th through April 9th

I know, with all of us it's rarely--rarely ever situational. Wellbutrin caused me anxiety. It's an upper for it raises dopamine and norepinephrine. Excess norepinephrine may trigger anxiety. It may also cause you to wake up at night and insomnia. It did with me. It did nothing positive for me and my roommate, which is odd, I expected it to help my roommate stay awake since she has mild narcolepsy. Raising the Wellbutrin won't take away your anxiety from what I've read and experienced.

Also they say that 400mgs of caffeine a day is okay. I know if I have more I start to shake and can't sleep. I try to stay away from it in the evening. But this is just minor stuff to tinker with that I consider when I consider when my meds are working comfortably.

Maybe you're right and you've built a tolerance to Paxil or it's just not with your unique brain chemistry. There's many recommendations I have but I don't want to say them because I don't want what happened to me to happen to you...

You should! It's a really hard addiction.. If you do it even for half of lent, you'll be like "Holy **** see how much willpower I have? I'm healthier too".. Then..., THEN.., You do the other half like a winner..

What's half? 20 days? Do 10 days! so 1/4.. or 5 days.. 1/8th.. Do it in 1/8ths..

Wellbutrin and caffeine are the only stimulants that give me anxiety.

Now that you mention it the Wellbutrin was increased recently from 150 to 200. A couple months ago. That may be why I’m like a million times more anxious.

I do have klonopin I can take up to 2 times a day. I hardly ever take it because I know its addictive but I’ll probably use it in this case to just get me through the next two day’s till my appointment

Wellbutrin can be tricky with psychosis...it’s plays with dopamine in addition to serotonin....the beginnings of paranoia are a lot like anxiety.....I know you’ve been on it forever but two things happened, 1 dose increase 2 possibly changes in other meds which could effect its metabolism.

Yeah that’s true, I’m going to see about stopping it, that makes sense that it could be causing some of my problems. I think part of my depression is rooted in how stressed and paranoid/anxious I’ve been feeling too since it’s so overwhelming.

Possible trigger:

Thank you guys for your input I really appreciate it

My mom's friend's bf was on Wellbutrin and he was feeling suicidal and anxious so I told him to stop taking it. He was using it for smoking and has no mental problems previously before taking it.

I took Wellbutrin over 10 years ago to quit smoking. It had no effect on me at all.

Tomorrow I'll have to see if they'll let me pay for my cell service out of my money account. A relative called the home this morning but no one knows my cell service is suspended. I don't want to lose my phone number.

I slept all day because it was too much work to be awake. I hope I don't get stomach flu again.

At least one CNA saw me about to take a hit off a disposable today. It's the weird CNA. I hope she doesn't blackmail me.

I'm more worried about whether the older CNA saw me holding and hiding my disposable when she appeared at the foot of my bed.

I wish my friend would try to get in contact with me. If he lost his phone he's probably really depressed.
