How do you guys combat the drowsiness/fatigue that occurs while taking antipsychotics. I've been taking various meds for the last 9-10 years and still dread every dose knowing it'll suck all the energy right out of me.

I take mine at night too. Honestly if I didn't have Vyvanse, I'd probably sleep all day. I don't know if I would even be able to work.

I take mine in the morning but sleep whenever I have a break. I become tired every other day it seems. I try to combat this with coffee and exercise.

As others have said, I take them at night. Additionally, I take the lowest possible dose (still have breakthrough symptoms sometimes) and I drink lots of coffee and do yoga. I highly recommend just doing some simple yoga poses, because it really wakes up your body. There's a youtube channel called I think Yoga with Adrian, and she gives beginner lessons you can follow along with.

I am sleepy almost daily. I am trying to sleep during my break time. I feel blessed to have breaks during the day. However, it is hard to stay awake!

Has anyone tried Geodon and does it make you very sleepy? Do you get over the sleepiness long term?

I am going to end up on it... Abilify gives me restlessness.
