I’m convinced it’s because of stress causing high anxiety...for the last few days I’ve had the sensation of bugs crawling on me. I think I’m just overwhelmed! I’m know it’s not real bugs but I still scratch and flinch when I feel it!
I did tell my psyd and he says to manage my stress as well as I can and call my pdoc Monday if it’s worse. I’m convinced this has nothing to do with psychosis. Anyone else feel this stuff when stressed/anxious? __________________ Bipolar 1 w/psychotic features or schizoaffective bipolar type PTSD generalized anxiety OCD celexa, prazosin, Lybalvi and prn zyprexa and klonopin |

Generally it’s they way psychosis reacts to stress or anxiety.....usually for tactile hallucinations I use some sort of tactile stimulation like a shower or a textured glove to help Stop it.

Yeah, it happens. It is called delusions of parasitosis. Have you ever had it before?
The treatment of choice historically is pimozide. It works great. Never had it not work, ever. Zyprexa can also work. If it is still there on Monday, just ask the pdoc about pimozide, would be my friendly advice. Hope your day is not too bad. __________________ When I was a kid, my parents moved a lot, but I always found them--Rodney Dangerfield |

Never heard of it!
I’m feeling fine mood wise-not depression or mania. I talked to my dr last week before it started lol I’m gonna try Taking a Valium when it gets really bad. __________________ Bipolar 1 w/psychotic features or schizoaffective bipolar type PTSD generalized anxiety OCD celexa, prazosin, Lybalvi and prn zyprexa and klonopin |

It may not go away without treatment, Halliebeth. But Zyprexa has been reported to be effective. Never heard about Risperdal working.
