Morning

Got an email to network with a health company that’s only offering online peer support in Florida at the moment but may expand. I suppose I will. I don’t remember signing up for this job but I may have. I rings a slight bell if that makes sense, the name of them. I’ve signed up for so many jobs past 2-3 months. I’m sure I did this one. They must be expanding to Texas too, it had an Austin Texas article on their site. I think that’s why I signed up. Yea I think I recognize them now. From a job listing.

The very tip of my pointer finger is slightly numb. I’ve ruined it probably pulling my eyebrows again with my fingers. With my thumbnail against my skin. I gotta stop that before it gets worse. I may have ruined a bit of the nerves on the tip.

Makes me worried. I hope it goes back to normal.

We got a heavy rain and the second floor of my house was leaking everywhere. My sister’s air conditioner broke down, probably because of that. It couldn’t be turned off so she woke up my mom panicking that it would blow. It pissed my mom off somehow and she impulsively called some people to get it checked. She met them without wearing a mask. Those people came into our house, also not wearing a mask. We turned off the electricity and it turned off the air conditioner. We probably have Covid viruses everywhere in the house now. My anxiety is sky rocketing and I feel drowsy and nauseous. Now my mom and sister are arguing with each other. I’m in my room trembling.

Spoke to my case manager last night. She is definitely going to discharge me next time which is in two weeks. I'm excited and anxious. I'm excited because she thinks I'm doing well and I've done "the work" and met the goals and she talked to my providers and got them all on the same page. She's given me tools to work with and now I just gotta keep it up. She says if I keep it up I will be successful. Still I'm anxious because she's such a positive, encouraging person and who wouldn't want that in your life? I'm anxious about losing the support but I know I have tools and I know who I can go to for support. It's sort of bittersweet I guess. But I'm going to try to think of it positively. I've done a good job. She's proud of me. She thinks I'm doing well. I don't know if I am getting better or just getting more stable. But either way I'll take it. Still I might have to take some anxiety medication today. She was really helpful to me post hospitalization.

I just had to take some anti-anxiety medication because I'm feeling so anxious. I hope it just takes the edge off and doesn't make me sleepy. I'm at work today. No nap today.

Ughh I’m bored out of my mind. So much for my 3 day tech break. It lasted last night till today at 1pm. At least it was a little break. Sometimes all the information available on the internet is just overwhelming and I need to take a step back. But then I’m like well, if I stay offline I’ll have zero interaction with people till the weekend and that’s probably not healthy since I don’t live with anyone or have any company at all.

Sometimes ill take a break from the news or Pc or whatever but not all tech, that’s way too hard.

I like to know everything so I’m almost always on my phone. But if you’re overwhelmed by certain things just block those off for a while don’t cut out everything.

Like if I find myself overwhelmed with news I put on a movie or tv show and avoid twitter and my news apps and only stick to my fun social media apps.

I only allow reading the news for 5 min 3 times a day. Otherwise I limit my tech to immediate interactions with people or playing video games. At least I try.

Oh and the news I read I Twitter trending top 10 in the explore page. It only take 5 min to look over cuz it’s a sentence a piece for each topic. Unless I click on it.
