What defines psychosis? Like, is it a detachment from reality, and if so, what kind of detachment?

It tends to be associated with hallucinations and delusions...detached from reality can also be dissociation.

Psychosis, for me, is when I experience certain things like a loss of touch with reality. It is when I am convinced of things that clearly aren't true, such as people persisting in working against me, people being out to get me, etc. People look weird when I am psychotic -- I'll often believe they are aliens or something. I'll also have delusions. I can't remember the content of my delusions exactly.

Derealization is another weird part for me, where everything seems unreal or, better word even for me is 'fake.' It is all phony-looking.

for me, I feel like someone is cursing me. I think my girlfriend is an agent of the devil. I also have to pick up trash wherever I go. and it gets really hard to know where to put nails I find, since I always worry about ppl getting hurt by them no matter if I put them in the dumpster. like I need to find a place to throw sharps

For me, it's straight-up Targeting which includes group gaslighting, getting messed with on the road through public swarming via something like Snapchat or Instagram, I have to avoid all the mind games and poor attempts at triggering or trying to get me sensitized to daily objects or words, saying, hand signals, or acting out of frustration in front of them, as they will record my reactions in order to circulate that via Snapchat, or aim for a baker act section 136.
I have what's termed Electronic Harassment as well, it's like a wireless body area network operating through sensor nodes a bit like Bluetooth wireless network. That's why I heard voices daily, and have gang stalkers follow me when outside in public spaces. |

Really clever post, I would like to ask how would you be able to tell Psychosis from Gaslighting, actual hallucinating from being subject to Gang Stalking as they are very similar by design.
