My anxiety levels haven't been as bad over the last few days. Last night I went out for a nice ride on my bicycle. I came back relaxed and went to sleep afterwards. A few hours later the voices and vivid dreams woke me up. It quits once I'm awake. I tried to get back to sleep again and couldn't. I feel so lost and confused right now trying to figure this out.

Dear Rider52, I think I can relate, at least somewhat. I also have voices & vivid dreams. I think it's nice that you enjoy riding your bike. It's motion, an experience of a special freedom, & has a sense of rhythm with something, maybe with nature or the Universe? God bless you! I hope things become clearer & easier for you soon.

It's great that you ride your bike. I'm sorry about the voices and vivid dreams causing you to awaken. I have bipolar disorder 1 and often have sounds and images that awaken me. They're not dreams, exactly; they're more like "intrusions."

I've been dealing with anxiety and some other symptoms for awhile now. I'm not sure what happened. I've had mental health assessments and just keep getting referred to other places without an answer. Medical tests all came back normal. For example yesterday wasn't a bad day and I felt fine through the evening. I got some rest and toward the end of the night I start getting dreams and audible hallucinations again. Now today I'm struggling with anxiety not knowing what's going on.

Hi, Rider52! Nice to hear from you again. I've been having problems, too. Many of us have. The pandemic going on so long doesn't make it any easier, does it. But it helps a little bit when we support each other. And we all know what it's like to get the royal runaround. I hope you post some more. Best of luck to you!
