Wireless Body Area Network - an overview | ScienceDirect Topics

Abstract
Energy is an important factor to be considered especially in the cases where implantable nodes are used. This is important because it is very difficult to replace the battery of a node placed inside a body. Researchers have been trying to develop energy efficient solutions in order to save energy and to extend the overall network lifetime. This chapter provides a comprehensive overview of Wireless Body Area Network (WBAN) and the energy management challenges. Moreover, heating issues faced by sensor nodes implanted in human body are also discussed. Heat dissipation is mainly due to the transmission and reception of electromagnetic signals to and from other sensor nodes which are part of the same network. The amount of heat dissipation is known as Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) and is measured in W/kg. There is a need to find solutions to reduce it to a level which is not dangerous for human health. High values of SAR results in tissue damage. Thus, the goal of this chapter is to discuss energy management, SAR and safety aspects in implanted wireless body area networks.

Security and Privacy in Wireless Body Area Network
Wireless body area network (WBAN) is another new technology in the innovation that gives remote system to screen and gather patient's well-being record information utilizing wearable sensors [34]. It is broadly perceived that an abnormal state of framework security and protection assume a key part in ensuring these information while being utilized by the human services experts and amid capacity to guarantee that patient's records are remained careful from interloper's threat. It is thus of awesome enthusiasm to talk about security and protection issues in WBANs. This chapter [34] evaluated WBAN correspondence engineering, security, and protection necessities and security dangers and the essential difficulties in WBANs to these frameworks in view of the most recent benchmarks and productions. The article [34] likewise covers the condition of-craftsmanship safety efforts and research in WBAN. At long last, open areas for future research and improvements are investigated.

Hi, Hope you are keeping well thanks for the question, so hear it goes.

I am a voice hearer who thought that 'voices' and the silent speech live streaming was a sign of mental illness, only to find out years later that this could and has explained some of what I myself has experienced upon a daily basis in the form of mimicking signs of mental illness, WBAN and the explanations I have posted could help and assist others with their 'voices' and stalking in public areas.

I was attempting to help by way of sharing information that a trained professional bug sweeper ex army specialist could assist with by way of detection and removal.

I hope you understand what I am saying here, the main goal was to help.
